How-To: Add Volume To Hair Without Teasing It

Hey all,

If you’re like me and you hate your hair the day you wash it, because it’s too silky and smooth to handle, I’ve got your problem solved! Some of you may not understand complaints over such an issue, but if you’ve got hair like mine, it’s like baby fluff when it’s clean. It slips away from clips and pins and it doesn’t really wanna do anything you want it to do. So if your only solution is to tease, tease, tease to get the right texture into it - stop. I’ve got a better idea.

Let me introduce you to:

DUST!

These two products are really good. They will give your hair that feel of second day hair. That kind of hair is the best for updos and styling. And this is how you can get it every day of the week.

HOW TO: Wash your hair and blowdry it as usual. When you’re done, part your hair where you want it and dust the roots lightly below the part line. Go over the whole top part of your head by making small partitions with a comb, or your fingers. Do not dust the part you’ve made on the top. It’ll take away the shine from your hair. (I personally prefer to slide the can upside down along the parts, instead of sprinkling it onto the roots, because sometimes that way the can can release too much powder at once.) Once you’re done, just fluff your hair with your hands. I even like to add some dry shampoo spray to the roots. If you want massive volume, you can tease your hair, as well. It will hold really good, too.
